Yesterday afternoon, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp all suffered a massive global outage. The outage lasted about six hours before things went back online.
Downdetector is a company that tracks issues and outages with various apps and websites said that the outage yesterday the “largest outage” it’s ever recorded. It was an estimated 3.5 billion users that were effected.
With that, the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg took a loss of an estimated $6 billion, as shares plummeted.
Zuckerberg did issue an apology on the incident that took place.
