Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder faced off for the third time tonight in one of the most exciting fights in recent years. In the previous fight in February of 2020, Fury defeated Wilder by a stoppage from Wilder’s corner. Now this time around, both fighters came in more prepared than ever.

The fight began with Wilder being the aggressor throwing haymakers an attempt to end Fury off quick, but to no avail. As the fight progressed, both fighters traded rounds, and even took turns getting knockdowns on each other in the middle rounds. But as the fight wore on, the ‘Gypsy King’ didn’t slow down. Fury used his near 40 pound advantage to lean on Wilder. He also executed his jab to keep Wilder at bay and from using his deadly knockout power. Throughout the later stages of the fight, Wilder seemed to be dead in the water at times, but still managed to throw and land heavy punches.

In the 11th round, Fury finally took advantage of Wilder’s lack of discipline and fatigue and landed a flawless right hook that ended the fight. Wilder put on a valiant effort, but it just wasn’t enough. Fury now has seemingly won the last three fights, even though the first match ended in a draw. The question that lies ahead is will Fury and Wilder fight for a fourth time, continuing this classic rivalry, or will he move on to fight Oleksandr Usyk.
