Tom Brady Leads The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Past The Dallas Cowboys In The NFL Season Opener

The NFL season is back in full swing with a thrilling game between the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys get their signal caller, Dak Prescott after he suffered a dislocated ankle just a few weeks into last season. The 6th year QB wasted no time knocking the rust off against Tampa’s ferocious defense by throwing the ball 58 times for 403 yards and three touchdowns. Amari Cooper led the way for the Dallas offense with 13 catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

For the Bucs, Brady was as sharp as ever entering his 22nd season. Brady threw 379 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Brady and TE Rob Gronkowski caught a pair of touchdowns during the game, which was the 100th time Gronk caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady. Antonio Brown led the Bucs in receiving yards with 121 and one touchdown.

In the end, Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to a 29-28 lead with just over a minute left. But Brady sliced through the Cowboys defense to get in Field Goal range where Ryan Succop ended the game on a field goal to win 31-29.
