After nearly a two year absence, The Weeknd has returned with his fifth studio “Dawn FM”. The Weeknd takes a new approach to this album, as he has done with all of his projects. On “Dawn FM”, he leans heavily into a late-night/early morning radio station as the theme of the album, with techno beats and synths throughout.

“Dawn FM” has guest appearances from the great Quincy Jones who talks about his upbringing and deep-rooted insecurities and a chilling outro narrated by the colorful Jim Carrey. Tyler, The Creator and Lil Wayne also provide theirs musical genius with verses on the album. The Weeknd delivers yet another album filled with a variety of sounds matched poetic and emotional lyrics.
