Yesterday in the women’s 400m hurdles for the Olympic Trials, Sydney McLaughlin made history. The 21-year old ran a 51.90 in the 400m hurdles, which was .26 seconds faster than the previous record. McLaughlin is also the first women in history to run the 400m hurdles in less than 52 seconds.
