SZA Points Finger At TDE’s Punch and RCA Records For Album Delay

It’s been over five years since SZA released her debut album “CTRL”, and in the time between she has sprinkled in a few features and singles. She even released a deluxe version of her debut album that came with seven new songs. Her fanbase has grown more and more eager for a new album, but it just hasn’t come yet.

On an Instagram post, a fan commented under a post of SZA’s asking about the new album, and SZA responded directly saying

“It’s 100% Punch and RCA on this one.” Punch is the president of the record label Top Dawg Entertainment, which SZA is under contract with. She continued,

“I wanted the Summer. They wanted more time. At this point, I’m just trying to have a good time stress free”

Punch then responded on his Twitter saying “Starting to get tired of this. Getting tired of this whole business.”
