Over the course of the last couple of years, “The Joe Rogan Experience” has grown exponentially. Last year, the podcast was the most popular in the world and is now a Spotify exclusive podcast after a major deal was signed between Rogan and Spotify in 2020.

For the last several months, Joe Rogan has been making some inaccurate claims about the Covid-19 vaccine and other vaccines in general. There even was a panel of more than 250 scientists who wrote a letter to Spotify telling them about the dangers of the misinformation that Rogan was spreading to the masses.

In a stand against Rogan and Spotify, Canadian-British singer Neil Young asked Spotify to take his music off of the streaming platform. He released a statement saying,

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform”. He continued, ” They can have Rogan or Young. Not both”.

Neil Young has made several public stands against other peers in the industry and even MTV.
