Seahawks WR DK Metcalf to Run at USATF Golden Games

In the 2019 NFL Draft Combine, scouts marveled at the athlete that wide receiver DK Metcalf was coming out of Ole Miss. In the 40 Yard Dash, Metcalf ran the fifth fastest time with a 4.33. What made it even more impressive is that Metcalf was 6’4 and over 230lbs.

Throughout the last two seasons in his NFL career, Metcalf has been at the tops of the NFL in yards per catch. But his most impressive play of his young career came against the Arizona Cardinals where Metcalf chased down Safety Budda Baker and saved a touchdown. That got the track and field world talking and they challenged Metcalf to join there world.

Well, Metcalf accepted the challenge and will participate in the USA Track and Field Golden Games and Distance Open where he will compete against world class sprinters in the 100 meter dash. Metcalf will have the chance to make the next Olympics qualifier.
