Ralph Lauren Steps Down.

Yesterday the fashion world was shaken when it was reported that the legendary Ralph Lauren would be stepping down as CEO of his namesake company. Ralph has been at the head of the company for almost 50 years now. His clothing is some of the more notable if not THE most notable in fashion history no matter if your 3 years old or 93 years old you know when you see a “polo horse” its Ralph Lauren. Ralph is turning 76 this year and is giving the CEO position to 41-year-old Stefan Larson who has been the global president of Old Navy for 3 years and previously worked at H&M for 15 years. Ralph has been noted saying that their relationship is more of a “partnership” and that Larson will be reporting to him still. “It’s a public company and we have the responsibility to have the right leadership” said Ralph to the Wall Street Journal about the decision. Mr. Lauren will forever live on even after he is long gone for the impact he has had on fashion globally throughout the decades.
