This week’s performance of the week goes to Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher, Tyler Gilbert. The Diamondbacks faced off against the San Diego Padres on Saturday, where Gilbert threw a No-Hitter in his first career start. It is the fourth time in MLB history a pitcher threw a No-Hitter in their first career start. The last time this amazing feat happened was Bobo Holloman in 1953, and the other two instances in 1892 and 1893, respectively. The Diamondbacks went on to win the game 7-0.
