Arguably the most popular band of all time, Beatles fans worldwide are ecstatic today after receiving news that the bands music is now available for streaming. The bands entire catalog and four new compilations are all available now on Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music,Deezer , Tidal, Slacker, Groove and Rhapsody. Seems they have a new outlook on digital music being that they have held out on the streaming capabilities of their music longer than any other musicians ever and weren’t available on iTunes until 2010. Enjoy Beatles classic during these holidays.
In the fashion of ending an overall great year with a bang Pusha T’s long awaited Darkest Before Dawn is finally here! With assistance from The Dream, Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, Ab-Liva, Beanie Sigel, Kehlani, and Jill Scott this is one of those solid albums you can play straight through with no skips. Nothing less was really expected from the president of G.O.O.D. Music himself. My personal favorites so far are M.F.T.R. and Sunshine but that’s likely to change with nothing but quality tracks to choose from. Push also announced the Darkest Before Dawn tour earlier this week if you want to witness in person:

A$AP Ferg premiered his new single featuring Future on Beats Radio last night and it’s now available on iTunes. The track is a trap banger as expected from the self proclaimed Hood Pope and leader of the Freebandz world. Ferg hasn’t said whether or not this is the first single off of his album to be released in January entitled ‘Always Strive and Prosper’ as a tribute to Yams. However, if this is any reflection of what the album will be like it should be just as impressive as his debut album Trap Lord.

Wiz Khalifa dropped his third mixtape in the Cabin Fever series today and it’s safe to say it’s fire. The original Cabin Fever may still be my preferred of the three but with production by Sonny Digital and TM88; accompanied by features from Juicy J, Kevin Gates, King Los, Curren$y, Chevy Woods, and Yo Gotti; all rolled up in classic Taylor Gang vibes this one doesn’t lack at all. There is also a surprise appearance from 2 Chainz on the song Shit Starters that isn’t listed on the original track list. Check out the project and gather your own opinion of it.

Awful Records member Abra released an official video today for her song Fruit off of her album Rose that released earlier this year. Rose is my favorite project of hers thus far and is also in my top works of the year overall. Her music has a very different feel than most artists right now but that’s what makes it so good, not only that but she writes and produces her own tracks. If you aren’t hip she is definitely worth getting into and someone to look out for in 2016. Watch her newest video below:

As we continue to patiently await the December 18th release of G.O.O.D Music President Pusha T’s ‘Darkest Before Dawn’ he releases the visual for “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets” a single from the upcoming LP. The visual contains many similarities to his short film also titled ‘Darkest Before Dawn’ which had the trailer recently premiere. Throughout the visual Pusha gives you his usual raw edgy lyrics over horns and hard hitting 808’s as he goes around a carousel along with a few “sinning” nuns throughout the eerie dark video. The vignette was put together by Taylor Shung, Grant Curatola and Cartier Court. Check out the visual below.
Sunday morning at around 2AM (ET) Kanye West took to twitter to update his fans on the status of his 8th studio album “SWISH” which has been rumored to come out for almost a year now. He also tweeted what we think could be a possible Yeezy Season 3 collection also now being worked on.
Based on these two tweets Yeezy seems to be in a more selfish state of mind right now where he is ready to just focus on his solo work along with getting his fans the album they have been waiting for for a very long time not to mention possibly a new collection of clothing to put the cherry on top.
Saturday night Derrick Henry won the heisman trophy, one of the most prestiges awards in college football. A beast of a tailback with a large workload finished a junior season in which he rushed for an SEC-record 1,986 yards which was previously held by 1982 heisman winner Herschel Walker. Derrick also carried the ball 339 times and tied for a conference best 23 touchdowns. Henry finished with 1,832 points in voting beating Stanford running back Christian McCafrey who had 1,539 points. During Derrick’s genuine and utterly moving acceptance speech he spoke about growing up in Florida with teenage parents and the huge influence of his Grandmother who couldn’t make it to the heisman ceremony due to the fact she is hospitalized however Derrick said “She is here with me in spirit and I love her very much”. Derrick also gave tremendous appreciation to his teammates during his acceptance speech stating “Coming into Alabama from Florida, they all accepted me, they all loved me and all supported me,” he said. “And this season, they’ve seen me as a leader, taken me as a leader. The offensive line takes pride in controlling the line of scrimmage, making sure I have success, and through this year, looking at these guys, the courage they had in me, the faith they had in me, I knew I couldn’t let them down”.“Everybody always asks me about carries, what I thought about it, how I felt, but when you got teammates like that who love you and care for you, it don’t matter how you feel or how bad it hurts, you’ve got to make sure you’re making those guys happy by helping them win, getting a victory.” Derrick also took time to honor his late Alabama teammate Altee Tenpenny who died in a car crash two months ago. From here Derrick will be looking forward to the December 31st Cotton Bowl matchup between his Alabama Crimson Tide and the Michigan State Spartans to see who will get to the college football championship game and compete for a National Championship.
