The week kicked off with the Jaguars taking on the Bengals. Trevor Lawrence looked to seek revenge against Joe Burrow from the 2019 National Championship where Burrow and LSU defeated Clemson. Unfortunately for Lawrence and the Jags, Burrow and the Bengals came out on top with a last-second field goal to win the game 24-21. Burrow threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns in the game, handing the Jaguars their 19th straight loss, dating back to week 2 of the 2020 season.

Andy Reid took a trip back to his old stomping grounds in Philadelphia, where he coached for 13 years. His Kansas City Chiefs looked to bounce back vs. a hobble Philadelphia Eagles team. Patrick Mahomes and Justin Hurts battled it out all game, but Mahomes and the Chiefs came out on top. Mahomes threw for 278 yards and five touchdowns on the day, with Hurts throwing for 387 and two touchdowns. Tyreek Hill had a dominant day, as he caught 11 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns (could’ve been four”. The Chiefs won by a final score of 42-30, as they end their rare two-game losing streak. The Eagles now fall to 1-3.

The Buffalo Bills steamrolled past the Houston Texans, Sunday afternoon. Since their week 1 loss, the Bills have been rolling, and the Texans are the latest to face the wrath of Josh Allen and Co. Allen threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns, with Stefon Diggs being the main beneficiary of that. Diggs finished with 114 yards with seven receptions. The Bulls shut out the Texans 40-0, as they win their third straight game.

The Cowboys hosted the red-hot Carolina Panthers in their week 4 bout. The Christian McCaffrey-less Panthers let the game slip away in the third quarter, with Dallas scoring three touchdowns in the third quarter. Carolina did make a late run before losing 36-28, taking their first loss of the season. For Dallas, Dak Prescott threw for 188 yards with four touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliot also ran for 143 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, second-year CB Trevon Diggs continues his dominance, as he intercepted two passes in the game. Diggs, NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September now has five interceptions on the season.

The Baltimore Ravens traveled to Denver to face the Broncos. Lamar Jackson lit the Broncos up with 316 passing yards and one touchdown. The touchdown came on a 49-yard pass down the middle to a diving Marquise Brown. Baltimore’s defense held Denver under wraps, as they won 23-7.

The Washington Football Team faced the Atlanta Falcons. The game came with some controversy, with several questionable calls made throughout the game. Despite that, Taylor Heinicke keeps up his stellar play with 290 yards passing with three touchdowns, as well as 43 more yards on the ground. A late touchdown pass J.D. McKissic lifted the Football Team to a 34-30 win.

In an NFC West battle that featured two of the NFL’s best teams, the Arizona Cardinals took on the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams came in the game 3-0, but only one could leave the game undefeated. Kyler Murray proved to be no match for Ram’s defense, as he threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals offense ran for 216 yards against LA, en route to a 37-20 win to remain undefeated.

After a poor performance in his rookie debut, Justin Fields bounced back vs. division rival, the Detroit Lions. Fields threw for 209 yards and one interception. David Montgomery ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns on the day for Chicago as well. Jared Goff’s 299 yards and two touchdowns weren’t enough, as the Lions remain winless. The final score was 24-14.

Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts took on the Miami Dolphins in their Week 4 Matchup. Wentz led the Colts with 228 yards and touchdowns vs. former Colts QB Jacoby Brissett. Johnathan Taylor also ran for 103 yards and a touchdown as the Colts won 27-17.

Daniel Jones proved a lot of doubters wrong with his stellar week 4 performance vs. the New Orleans Saints. Jones threw for 402 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Giants, as they won in overtime against the Saints. A six-yard touchdown run from Saquon Barkley won the game for New York, giving them their first win of the season with a 27-21 victory.

The New York Jets escaped Sunday with a shocking upset victory over the Titans. In the waning moments of overtime, the Jets failed to score a touchdown, as they settled for a field goal to take a 27-24 lead. The Titans then drove down the field where they missed a field goal to tie the game as time expired. Rookie QB Zach Wilson threw for 297 yards and two touchdowns in his first career win.

The Seattle Seahawks faced division rival, San Francisco 49ers, in a slugfest in week 4. The Seahawks didn’t put up amazing offensive numbers, individually or as a team, but they kept the ball moving and put points on the board. The 49ers let 1st round pick Trey Lance run the show for a portion of the game as well. Lance finished with 157 passing yards with two touchdowns. His impressive performance was to no avail though, as the Seahawks won 28-21.

The Pittsburg Steelers looked to avoid a three-game losing streak in Green Bay this past weekend, as the Packers seek their third consecutive win. The willy veteran Aaron Rodgers and the Packers maintained control throughout the game. Rodgers finished the game with 248 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both going to Randall Cobb. For the Steelers, the offensive woes continue. The final score was 27-17, with the Packers coming out on top.

Tom Brady made his first return back to Foxborough to face his former team the New England Patriots. With the rain coming down throughout the game, Brady struggled with his accuracy, completing just 22 of 43 attempts. On the other end, rookie Mac Jones didn’t have that same issue. Jones completed 19 straight passes at one point in the second half. The game came down to a final drive with the ball in the Pat’s possession. After they failed to convert a first down with time ticking, New England opted to kick a field goal. Unfortunately for New England, Nick Folk hit the upright and the Bucs took home the 19-17 win. In the game, Brady also surpasses Drew Bress as the all-time passing yardage record for a career.

In the final game of Week 4, the Los Angeles Chargers took on the Las Vegas Raiders. In the first half of the game, Justin Herbert played phenomenal, throwing for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns. Austin Ekeler played a pivotal role in the game as well, with 117 rushing yards and one touchdown. Ekeler also scored a receiving touchdown. In the end, the Chargers handed Las Vegas their first loss of the season by a score of 28-14.
