NBA Reimagines Postseason Trophies For NBA 75th anniversary

The NBA has reimagined the Postseason trophies to commemorate the NBA’s 75th Anniversary. They partnered with Tiffany & Co. and Victor Solomon to give the trophies a brand new look. Look below for the all new trophies.

The championship trophy, still named after Larry O’Brien who served as the NBA commissioner from 1975 to 1984. While he was commissioner, O’Brien merged the NBA and the ABA and made television-broadcast deals that grew the game exponentially.
The NBA Finals MVP award still honors Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell, who won 11 championships with the Boston Celtics and is the pioneer of the NBA.
The Eastern and Western Conference Championship Trophies are named after Bob Cousy and Oscar Robertson. Cousy and Robertson are two of the greatest point guards to play in the NBA, and their styles brought creativity and breathed new life into the game.
The Western and Eastern Conference MVP Trophies are named after Ervin “Magic” Johnson and Larry Bird who are two of the game’s greatest players. Bird and Johnson’s rivalry in the 80s took the NBA to new heights and expanded the NBA’s popularity.
