Portsmouth’s own Missy Elliot is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, becoming the first female Hip-Hop artist to accomplish this feat. Elliot joins a class of artists like Willie Nelson, George Michael, The Spinners, and more.

Throughout her career, Elliot has every one of her six albums go platinum and was a trailblazer for her unmatched charisma and creativity in her music videos and fashion.
