After releasing their Classic Leather and Tabi fusion sneaker last month in both a white and black colorway, Reebok and Maison Margiela have continued their collaborative efforts together, this time as a Club C. The popular Reebok silhouette will be delivered in both white and black again, however this time the collaborative sneaker will be using a trompe l’oeil technique, which sees the upper constructed from a single piece of leather with a print of a scanned image of the original Club C shoe. This technique means that the upper appears to feature every detail typically seen on a Club C sneaker, despite being constructed from just one piece of leather. The sneaker will also consist of a co-branded tongue featuring both Reebok’s logo and Margiela’s signature branding. The sneaker is due to release in black or white on March 24, and will be available from select Maison Margiela stores, the label’s web store and the Reebok site.
