In 2014, Jay-Z purchased the rest of Armand de Brignac, also known as Ace of Spades. for $30 million. Between 2014 and 2019, the annual sales went from 50,000 to over 500,000 bottles sold. Today, LVMH will acquire 50% of Armand de Brignac and begin a 50-50 partnership. In 2018, Jay-Z said in a song, “I’m 50% of D’usse, and it’s debt-free, 100% of Ace of Spade worth half a B”. So if you’re wondering about the math, Armand de Brignac’s sale was possibly upwards of $250 million.
