Lil Yachty released his fourth studio album “Let’s Start Here.” Throughout his career, Lil Yachty has been one of the most dynamic and vocally distinctive artists. Years ago, his first projects albums gave a glimpse into Yachty’s potential as a creative lyricist who sounded like no other. He then transitioned and even released an entire album that was inspired by the one-of-a-kind style that Michigan rappers possess with “Michigan Boy Boat.”
“Let’s Start Here” is unlike his last couple of projects, and Lil Yachty once again delivers a fresh new sound. The album has vibrant sounds, inspired by vintage rock music which gives the listener a different experience with each song. Lyrically, Yachty is vulnerable and lets the curtain open into his emotions and thoughts. He hairs his unique voice to sing on “Let’s Start Here” instead of rapping, showing off his range as a musician. The album has a tracklist of 14 songs and a runtime of 57 minutes. Artists like Teezo Touchdown, Daniel Caeser, Max DeMarco, Foushée, and more make appearances on the album in the capacity of co-writers and vocalists.
