Lil Uzi Vert Explains His Forehead Diamond, “27 Club”, His New Nickname “Lil Prince” and more to Fat Joe via IG Live

Not known for frequently doing interviews, Lil Uzi Vert took time to join Fat Joe for a conversation Thursday night via IG Live where the Philly-rapper touched on numerous topics such as his recent investment of a $24M Diamond which he implanted in his forehead, past tweets about the “27 Club”, Jay-Z dubbing his nickname to be “Lil Prince” and more.

Uzi shed light on the fact that initially he thought about making the $24M Diamond a ring saying “I’m Lil Uzi. I’m turnt up. So $24 million on a ring is the stupidest idea because I’m gonna look down and that ring ain’t gon’ be there, I know me. I wake up in odd places and different sceneries.”

Shortly after speaking about the ring Uzi voiced his real thoughts on the “27 Club” (the name for a group of musicians including Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and more whom all passed away at 27) saying “I don’t think that’s going to happen because, come on, bro, we’re in reality, I’m not scared to die, but who the fuck wants to die?… If I wanted to die, Joe, I’m pretty sure I’d be dead. I know how to make a hit record and buy a $24M diamond, I’m pretty sure I would be dead if I wanted to die.” Watch the full conversation below now.
