LeBron James Becomes The First Active NBA Player To Reach Billionaire Status

LeBron James has become the first active NBA player to reach $1 billion in net worth. The 37-year-old has also become the youngest NBA player to reach that status. Michael Jordan reached the milestone in 2014, and Kobe Bryant in 2019. This year, LeBron earned over $121 million to lift him to Billionaire status.

James has amassed over $900 million throughout his career in his career on Off-court ventures and $385 million in on-court earnings. James has a stake and ownership in different sports teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins, Liverpool FC, and the Boston Red Sox.
