Jackson State QB Shedeur Sanders Signs NIL Deal With Gatorade

Shedeur Sanders, Jackson State University starting QB and son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, has made history off of the field. Shedeur has signed a NIL deal with Gatorade, making him the first college football player to sign with the juggernaut company.

Sanders was a major contributor to Jackson State going 11-2 this season and winning the SWAC. Sanders, who already has had NIL deals with Tom Brady’s brand and Beats by Dre is helping to blaze the path for HBCU athletes to gain more opportunities.

When asked about the new Gatorade deal Shedeur said,

“This whole HBCU thing that’s going on right now is bringing national attention… Everything’s going to go up, and honestly, other players in HBCU’s should get deals also.”
