It has been 4 long years since Isaiah Rashad last released a single under himself and the wait is finally over with the gift of ‘Lay Wit You’ featuring Duke Deuce. The high energy record marks a triumphant return for the TDE signee. He raps laid back but with authority “Big wheel got that motherfucker skating hard, chill pill got me high but can I lay with ya?” Duke Deuce delivers a classic Memphis style flow, perfectly complementing Isaiah who is from Chattanooga Tennessee. The release also comes with an epic visual. The video directed by Omar Jones starts with Isaiah rolling up on a couch, as he calls back to a room full of beautiful women who are getting ready for a night out. They then enter a jet black red leather seated interior Jeep Wrangler, speeding through the city as Isaiah raps the lyrics of the song. They arrive at a party where Duke Deuce is awaiting, dancing with the lightest of feet. The video switches to the inside of the party where a red and blue fish eye lens spins around the pandemonium of the function. The video ends with a snippet of another song from Isaiah’s highly anticipated album ‘The House Is Burning’.
