As we all continue to actively strive for change both on a local and statewide level by voting. Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) has announced they will not collect fares on Election Day, November 2nd. The free fares include rides on buses, the light rail, ferries, and paratransit services. HRT officials say the move is part of a “public service” to the local residents.
