After ten seasons with the Houston Texans, All-Pro DT JJ Watt has been released from the team. The Texans and Watt both mutually agreed to part ways. In his ten seasons, Watt is a 5x All-Pro, 5x Pro-Bowl selection, Pro Football Hall of Fame All Decade Team (2010s) and 3x Defensive Player of the Year.
Off the field, Watt has been one of the biggest helpers in the Houston community. After the disaster of Hurricane Harvey, Watt helped raise over $41 million to help rebuild homes and feed people in Houston. He’s donated millions of dollars to other charity foundations as well throughout his tenure as a Texan.
