High school phenom Mikey Williams has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Puma. The 17-year old Vertical Academy guard has built up his name over the years on and off the court, and has over 3.3 million followers on Instagram.

The global director of brand and marketing, Adem Patrick spoke of the signing saying, “His talent on the court and his ability to connect with young athletes and fans alike, will help drive hoops culture forward and inspire the next generation of athletes. He has a bright future ahead of him and we are proud to be a part of his journey.”

Williams has already collaborated with Kahwi Leonard, Rod Wave and NBA 2K over the summer. The deal also may bring problems if he goes to a college with a competing sneaker company.
