Former Norview High School and Oak Hill Academy standout Keyontae Johnson has been medically cleared to return to play basketball and has transferred to Kansas State. Johnson hasn’t played since December 2020, when he collapsed against Florida State due to a strange heart issue.
Johnson was on the brink of being one of college basketball’s best players, as he averaged an efficient 16 points in his four games during the 2020 season. Johnson will forfeit a $5 million insurance policy if he played a certain amount of games and take his chances on making it to the professional level.
