ESPN Announces New Short Film 30for30 Short Film Titled “The Greatest Mixtape Ever”

ESPN’s 30for30 is releasing a new documentary titled “The Greatest Mixtape Ever.” New York City basketball has spawned some of the greatest NBA and streetball legends. In the 1990s, cameras started to make their way into the playgrounds and document the amazing talents within the city. Over time, those videos became the birth of the famous “And1” mixtapes that inspired a generation of basketball players to come. Those same mixtapes brought out NBA Superstars like Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and others to famous courts like Dyckman and Rucker Park to play amongst New York’s finest.

The documentary will feature the words of Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, Iman Shumpert, Kemba Walker, Scoop Jackson, Fat Joe, and And1 Legend Rafer Alston, and many more.

“The Greatest Mixtape Ever” is set to release on May 31st at 8 pm ET on ESPN. Watch the trailer below:
