Duke Basketball Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski To Retire After 2021-22 Season

After 46 years of coaching, Mike Krzyzewski has finally decided to announce his retirement. Coach Krzyzewski announced that the 2021-22 season will be his last. He coached 5 seasons as the head coach of Army Cadets and the last 41 as the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils.

In his 46 seasons, he has a record of 1,170 wins and 361 losses. He also has a plethora of awards such as 3x Naismith College Coach of the Year, 3x USA Basketball Gold Medalist, and 5x ACC Coach of the Year.

It is expected that Krzyzewski will be succeeded by Former Duke Player and current assistant Jon Scheyer.
