Arguably the most highly anticipated album of 2021, Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ will not be releasing this month. Drake announced back in October that his new album, Certified Lover Boy would be releasing at the top of 2021. Now, he has issued an update via instagram that the album will not arrive this month saying “I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” he wrote, referring to a knee injury he sustained in the fall of 2020. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.” This announcement comes shortly after Drake became the first artist ever to surpass 50 billion combined streams on Spotify.
