DaBaby has released his first record of 2021 titled ‘Masterpiece.’ On the new record the Charlotte rapper briefly touches on a 2018 Walmart shooting which left one man dead with the simplistic lyrics “I don’t know what went down at that Walmart.” In a press release regarding the incident DaBaby stated that the man followed he and his family around the Walmart before threatening the rapper causing him to protect himself and his family.
