Cardi B is back with a new single/video, ‘UP.’ The new record is a follow-up to her 2020 smash hit “WAP” which set a record for the biggest debut streaming week. In the Tanu Muino-directed video, we see an opening with Cardi B in a cemetery beside a “RIP 2020” gravestone before she continues delivering some NSFW lyrics while being dressed in elaborate costumes and featured in numerous stunning set designs throughout. Speaking with Zane Lowe from Apple’s Beats 1 Radio, Cardi said this about the record “If it’s up, then it’s stuck, and that’s where I wanted to take it with this record.” Check out the new song/video for ‘UP’ below now.
