On his 32nd birthday, Big Sean took to social media to officially announce that he has a sequel to his 2012 Detroit mixtape releasing soon. The title of the new album will be, Detroit 2 and from the video Sean released which features a montage of Detroit street scenes, restaurant shots, and him hanging with friends at home and in other locales as well as scenes from him working in the studio, Hitboy and Young Thug are confirmed contributors.
