Amazon took to social media Tuesday night to announce they will also be apart of the December 9th Kanye West and Drake “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert in the form of global streaming via Prime Video and Twitch. After their longstanding beef, the two musicians squashed their quarrel’s with the help of music executive J Prince in the name of freedom for Gangster Disciples co-founder Larry Hoover who is currently serving multiple life sentences. The show is said to benefit advocacy groups including Hustle 2.0, Ex-Cons For Community And Social Change and Uptown People’s Law Center. Timothy Hinshaw, Head of Hip Hop & R&B at Amazon Music also took to instagram with his own heartfelt caption regarding the show posting “The call from Ye hit different. J Prince told me this was ordained. I spent my Saturdays at FCI Terminal Island visiting my dad, brushing up on all the Scarface songs he was listening to on lockdown so to be a part of this moment focused on Prison reform is even more special.
