Just hours before tip off, the 2021 NBA All-Star game will be without two of leagues biggest stars. Due to contact tracing, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have been ruled out of the 2021 All-Star Game and will likely have to stay and quarantine in Atlanta. Simmons’ and Embiid’s came in contact with a barber in Philadelphia and tested positive earlier this week.
Since the news came so soon before the game the league was not able to replace the two players. But in place of Embiid in the starting lineup, second year star and first time All-Star Zion Williamson will replace Embiid for Team Durant.
