The LA Dodgers End 32 Year Drought To Win World Series

MLB got off to a very rocky start this season. Between the NBA, NFL, and MLB, baseball felt the effect of Coronavirus heavily. But as things got back on track, the MLB continued their condensed season. But one team that managed to stay the course was the LA Dodgers.

The Dodgers played the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Wil Card series and dismissed them by winning the series 2-0. They swept the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series 3-0 to advance to play the Atlanta Braves in the National League championship series. Los Angeles was backed into a 3-1 deficit after the Braves beat them 10-2 in game 4. But LA managed to come back and win from that 3-1 deficit to move on to the World Series to face the Tampa Bay Rays.

The LA Dodgers went on to defeat the Tampa Bay Rays in six games to give LA their first World Series title since 1988. That same year, the Los Angeles Lakers also won an NBA championship as they did this season in their bubble. History has repeated itself for the City of Angels, despite a year full of turmoil.

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers on their 2020 World Series Championship.
