eBay has announced they will be expanding its “Authenticity Guarantee” to sneaker sales. The all new authentication program will be for new and pre-owned collectible sneakers worth $100 and up. In a press release from the company they stated the service initially launched in September to cover watches $2,000 and up but now they will be adding sneakers to the process along with guaranteeing an independent team of experts will fully vet and verify the “most popular” sneaker styles and brands on its marketplace starting this month.
