Miami Heat Pick Up Much Needed Win In Game Three To Make The Series 2-1

In games one and two in the NBA Finals, the Lakers have dominated the Miami Heat in all facets of the game. The Miami Heat announced before Game 3 that Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo will be out again, as they both deal with there injuries.

The Miami Heat defense bothered the Lakers more this game, forcing 19 turnovers and 43% shooting as a team(LA shot 50% in Game 2.) But the story of the game was the legendary performance from Jimmy Butler. Butler led Miami with 40 points (14-20 FG, 12-14 FT), 11 rebounds, 13 assists, two steals, and two blocks. He also played 45 minutes. Many people may not realize it, but under the circumstances, Butler performed under, it will be looked back as one of the greatest Finals games ever. He guarded LeBron was a factor for several of Lebron’s eight turnovers. In the fourth quarter, Butler assisted on 23 of Miami’s 30 points to close out the Lakers and win 115-104.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 25 points, ten rebounds, and eight assists. Kyle Kuzma and Markieff Morris both scored 19 points in the Lakers’ loss.

Game 4 will be played Tuesday, Oct. 6, on ABC at 9 pm ET.
