Last night, the Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 125-113 to advance to the NBA Finals.
For Miami, Bam Adebayo had a career-defining game. Adebayo led all scorers with 32 points and 14 rebounds, with five assists to go along with that. Bam was a force to deal with on both ends. Andre Igoudala and Tyler Herro came off the bench and played phenomenally. Igoudala scored 15 points on a perfect 5-5 (4-4 3pt). Herro poured in 19 points and seven assists, respectively. Jimmy Butler led Miami with eight assists to go along with 22 points in the victory.
Boston had four players score 20+ points in the loss, led by Jaylen Brown, who scored 26 points. Jayson Tatum struggled shooting the ball, but he had a career-high in assists with 11. Unfortunately, the Celtics incredible season has come to an end. The future is in good hands with Tatum and Brown.
Miami and Los Angeles will play Game 1 of the NBA Finals Wednesday at 9:00 pm ET on ABC.
