Spike Lee once again is on the forefront, displaying his knowledge and awareness of police brutality via film. Over the weekend the legendary film director released a 94-second short-film entitled “3 Brothers.” The film, highlights police brutality by bringing the stories of George Floyd, Eric Garner and Radio Raheem, a character who was at the hands of the police in Spike’s feature film, ‘Do The Right Thing.’ Releasing the short during an appearance on CNN, Lee told Don Lemon “the attack on black bodies has been here from the get-go, people are fed up, and people are tired of the debasing, the killing of black bodies.”
