Nike Joins The Long List Of Stores Closing Globally Due To Covid-19

Earlier this morning Nike announced they will be closing all of their stores in the U.S., along with other parts of the world, to try to curb the spread of the new coronavirus. Stores across the U.S., Canada, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand will close from Monday through March 27, the company said. Nike is however still keeping open its stores in South Korea, Japan, most of China and in “many other countries,” the company said, based on daily assessments of the COVID-19 pandemic. Including their Converse stores and outlet locations, this makes upwards of 1,100 of Nike’s physical locations that will be closing temporarily.
