Kim Jones To Serve As Guest Curator For Sotheby’s Contemporary Curated Sale

Artist Director of Dior Men’s Collections, Kim Jones will lens his celebrated eye as guest curator for Sotheby’s forthcoming contemporary curated sale. Set to kick off March 6th in New York City, Jones, having collaborated with the likes of KAWS, Raymond Pettibon and most recently Daniel Arsham saw this opportunity as a fairly simple task comparing it to his job at Dior

“I’m quite fast when I make decisions about things like that. It’s the same as when I’m working doing a collection, I guess. I pulled out things I loved, and the things that spoke to me, and the things that related to what I do with my job at Dior.”

His picks from the sale illustrate the designers unique vision featuring works from Cindy Sherman, David Hockney, George Condo, Nick Cave and more. Kim’s selects will be on view at Sotheby’s New York Gallery starting March 6th.
