The trajectory of the fight had Wilder fans across the country nervous as he was undoubtedly losing this fight as the score cards also later revealed, but then in Bronze-Bomber fashion, Deontay connected with one of the hardest right hand punches you could ever imagine, putting Ortiz down and out in the 7th round. In post-fight interviews Deontay not only stated that the blockbuster match up between he & Fury would be happening in February, he also alluded to the unifying of the heavyweight belts in a matchup with Anthony Joshua whom currently doesn’t hold the IBA, WBF and WBO belts, however he is set to fight Andy Ruiz on December 7th and regain control of them which would lead perfectly into the match up boxing fans are dying to see between Wilder and Joshua.
