Let’s rewind to what most would say was a much simpler time in Kanye West’s career nine years ago. Kanye West’s fifth studio album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ was originally released November 22nd, 2010 and since has been hailed a masterpiece by numerous platforms and Hip Hop fans alike. Widely regarded as Kanye’s most experimental and diverse album featuring smash singles like POWER, Runaway and All Of The Lights, it wasn’t only the release of this album that had/have listeners in a craze declaring its greatness, but the amazing works surrounding the album such as the original George Condo cover artwork that seen two nude figures, the unforgettable stretch of G.O.O.D Friday song releases throughout 2010, ‘Runway’ short film that West himself starred in, an unforgettable VMA performance with label mate and G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T, At that time like never before the Louis Vuitton Don was at a peak that very few in Hip Hop artists have ever seen. As we head into the closing of the decade recently Billboard named MBDTF the greatest album of the decade besting out Beyoncés ‘Lemonade’ album at number 2. Although nowadays most would suggest it’s hard to identify with the 42-year-old rapper after his support of Donald Trump and a recent strengthy conversion to Christianity which has propelled his Sunday Service performances all over the country, One thing for certain is during this era of Kanye West’s career he was untouchable and the Hip Hop history books will take note of that forever.
