Don’t panic, this not one of those epic updates that instagram tried months back that had users running to twitter in a frenzy. According to an insider at Facebook the company wants to be “clearer about the products and services that come from Facebook,” so don’t expect a complete facelift or anything from the apps it seems that going forward when the apps are found in the App Store or on Google Play they will read ‘Instagram From Facebook’ and ‘WhatsApp From Facebook’ and a possible splash screen showing the same when opening the app reflecting ownership from the social media giant. This is all set to take place sooner than later but we will keep you all up to date on exactly when it will happen as more information releases.
