The relationship that Tyga and Lil Wayne have is well documented. Tyga was apart of the legendary YMCMB run that produced artist like Nicki Minaj, Drake and himself all led by what some argue to be the greatest rapper of all time Lil Wayne. The relationship between the YMCMB camp went sour leading to Tyga going independent in 2015 after being signed to the label since 2008. Last year seemed to be a huge comeback year for Tyga with hit song ‘Taste’ featuring Offset peaking at number 8 on Billboard charts pushing the Californian native back into conversations of hip hop lovers nationally. Taste, Goddamn, and Haute is the singles off his latest album Legendary however the visual recently released is one for the second track on the album Lightskin Lil Wayne. The visual sees Tyga in a series of re-enactments of classic Lil Wayne videos such as Lollipop, Fireman, A Milli with scenes of Tyga sporting notable Lil Wayne favorites like the red bandana with a white wife-beater, the full-zip bathing ape camo hoodie and much more. Check out the self-directed Lightskin Lil Wayne visual here.
