It’s been circulating all week that the power couple of Jay-Z and Beyoncé were in the Hampton Roads. First Norfolk, VA at legendary drive-in restaurant Doumars, then MacArthur Mall and then all of the memes started to show on social media of both Jay-Z and Beyoncé at every significant place in the Hampton Roads from Feather & Fin to Military Circle Mall to Norfolk States campus and even to the recently opened streetwear boutique Commonwealth. Last night Jay-Z performed at historic Webster Hall in a night many are already saying is one of the most legendary of his career and after the show Brooklyn lifestyle magazine Def Pen confirmed they know the legend from Marcy projects would be at Something In The Water. We spoke with some of the event coordinators and they are still saying they have heard of no such thing and the artist that are definitely coming are on the bill already plus some of Pharrell’s “friends”. We, however, are here to tell you that we have spoken to some inside sources about Jay-Z and they are stating he will definitely be here with Beyoncé and will perform tonight at some point during the Pharrell & Friends set time from 9:25-1030 so make sure your cameras are ready for the momentous night.
