The Everyday Dope Life Fest, a hip hop festival created by EDL CEO and Norfolk State Alumna Niyah Nelson, that networked different local artist as well as teaching different aspects of music to artist. Held at The O’Connor Brewing Company, the festival featured games, food, vendors, and good music from artists such as Era Hardaway, Breeze Park & Jae R.
Hosted by Lady KaSh & That Guy JonTy, who provided contagious energy the entire night connecting very well with the crowd. The panelists ranged from Quinelle & Sabrina Vaz Holder, Young Lito, Hannon Lane, and Clark Jones. The speakers provided gems on how to be successful in the music industry and topics that many artists get may be unfamiliar with in the industry.
Although the festival had many different games, vendors, and good music; the highlight of the event were the cyphers. Many artists such as AlDom$, Doug Finesse, Tay Gutta and many others definitely brought the bars. Also allowing guests to spit which only added more energy into the freestyles as well.
