Several months ago, the #1 recruit in the nation Travis Hunter committed to Florida State to continue his football career. But today on National Signing Day, Hunter had shocked the country by decommiting from Florida State and and committing to Jackson State to play under Deion Sanders.
Hunter is then highest ranked player ever to commit to a FCS school for football.
Sanders hinted at something big yesterday on his on Barstool sports saying that he would “shock the world”, and he did just that.
In his senior season, Hunter played both cornerback and wide receiver. This season Hunter made 76 receptions for 1128 yards and ten touchdowns. He will play offense full time for Tigers next season. The Jackson State Tigers also had a dominant 11-1 season in Sanders first season as head coach.
